"Ranger Rick is back posing over at Mil.com. He has apparently passed a doctored copy of his DD-214 to the admins which "Showed that he served with 2/75". On discharge, bernardi was with 2/325 and was known as a "Slug". His DD-214 would only show unit at separation. Nobody over at SOCNET can find any indication that he was ever a Ranger and guys who served in 2/75 during "Urgent Fury" state flatly that "Bernardi was not on the jump into Grenada with us". The admin who closed the thread on Phonies, "Sekar", was apparently taken in by the bogus 214 and judging by his profile (Ret. CSM) should have known better. Best guess is that he (Sekar) is a phony as well and wanted to close out the thread.
Bernardi filed a complaint with the Command Chain of a unit that one of his detractors is in. Last word I have is that they did some checking on Bernardi's background, found out that he was a phony, and threw out his complaint.
