I am looking to get my hands on a tactical-tailor large ruck (1000 denier cordura nylon instead of the original ALICE material) to stuff all my gear into. I have my own LBE, buttpack, mag pouches, rifle cleaning kit, compass, maps of the local area (god bless topo maps!), pace counter, and camelback carrier (replaced the back straps of my LBE with a spec-ops brand hydration carrier)

for the time being, I have a T.H.E. backpack with all sorts of odds n ends attached to it so I can carry 90% of my shit in a SHTF situation. just need to push the cali RKBA petition along so we can finally start telling the libtards here to FUCK OFF! (RKBA = Right to Keep and Bear Arms)

    FYI:
I am NOT a bat-boy, the scroll says, "IED HUNTER". Kind of an inside joke in my old platoon.

Are you using that stuff for PSD work or do you own "just because"

I spent 13 years on the SWAT team and after getting a promo to the detective bureau, I had to hang it up.

But as far as the wife is concerned, all my gear (and the stuff I still buy...)
is because " The chief is thinking about letting plain clothes assignment guys back on the team Honey !"

I became a "Geardoh" in the Army and it has only gotten worse I'm afraid...

Oh well, could be worse, I could have bought a Harley like everyone else who needs a new "identity" :D

I'm a gear-do just like you. I didn't really have anything until I bought my Evil Black Rifle...but I went nuts seeing all the high-speed toys these young-uns get to play with.

I guess you could say that I'm an unabashed gear whore just because I'm a By-God American and nobody can tell me I can't be one, LOL.

I don't really use the stuff because of my back, but it looks purty sitting there in my room (and it fidgits the 6 to no end, muhuwahahahaha).
