Did I lie about my service on military com, yes I did.

Was I a Captain in CAP, yes I was. I am currently on Patron status because of new regulations and changes in policy of CAP. Its what it is, the truth. Currently I need to have a CAC to have access to base (which I dont have currently).

I had two profiles on military com one was my original one as pvt (since 2000), the other was as Captain. The second profile I created based on a situation I saw happening when some people on military com were attacked for thier service (some of them still serve). The people that know and that I have worked with have been told what I did but not all of them know why.

Back then I defended those people as a PVT and got pushed aside and got various death threats, etc for defending active duty personel. At that time I made the biggest mistake in my life and created a new profile and defended those people. Some of the people I have talked with and did my best to help where more often than not on the verge of pulling the trigger and putting an end to the drama. I could not and would not stand by and let that happen.

In 2006 I had the grade and earned it.

So to answer your question directly if I ever lied the answer is yes. Did I ever get any fame or anything else for myself, no I didnt. Actually it was the other way around. I spent my time not putting myself in a pedistal or claiming I was better than others.

I also lied when I enlisted in the Army back in 1989 because I wanted to serve. Back then I asked my recruiter about what would happen with my asthma and enlisted anyway.

My records were deleted after 10 years. When I worked with NATO I was told this and never questioned why they were deleted. To the best of my knowedge I was never given a dishonorable discharge from the Army and swear by God that this is the truth!

Some things happened between me and the Army back then and I told those very close to me what it was. Quite frankly thats between me and the Army and nobody else.

One thing I would like to get straight. I never lied about being a Captain in CAP. I started as a 2ndLt and went to Captain, its not uncommon for that to happen. It is in the current CAPR and I can post that here if it is required. You are given a certain rank based on your education and skills. In my case it was Finance Officer. This is a job that not many people like to do or want to do. CAP has two parents Congress and the USAF. A BS in Business Management or Finance is a direct Captain grade!

A Pilot is 2ndLt a CFI is 1stLt and ATP is Captain. This info is all in the Senior Member CAPRs.

Another thing I also registered at NAEMT (those in health services EMT, SAR and Doctors know what this is).

At Cap I took an oath just as I did in my enlistment back in 1989. The oath was different and I had the grade of an officer. Some at CAP see that as a difference I dont. For me an officer is an officer. Since we work with cadets who have the chance to go to the Academy I see this as a very important part of serving this country.

There are people here on this site that are at CAP and can verify the CAPR regs on Senior Members and Senior Grades and how these can be earned or given based on certain critieria.

Let the record show that I never in any way got anything positive out of my support through Soldiers Angels, MilNet, Mil Com or Military Support Network. I just never did any of that to get respect or steal honor in any way.

The time, money and stress in making sure packages, letters and phone calls and thanks to those that help support MY previous cadets and MY troops is more than many care to think about.

When I had the honor to wear my cluster on MY AUTHORIZED uniform I felt the responsibility of that grade/rank and acted as such.

At Mil Com I always took the hits from hackers, left and right winged nuts at the site. When the shit hit the fan I protected the people and staff there, unless there was a hell of a good reason to do otherwise.

I took responsibility for the mistakes of others because I was in charge.

Everything every ribbon on my uniform I EARNED THE RIGHT TO WEAR.

Lastly

Rebkev, you sir have more than enough things in the closet but I am not the guy to run around and doing the pissing contest thing. If you want to flame me or anything else, hey man go for it.

I will leave you with a few thoughts though.

I covered yours as well as other peoples asses on many occasions, I never questioned you or anyone else really. But I do question why you are doing what you are.

Mil.com once offered to pay me 1500 $ as a mod, I said then as I have ALWAYS said that I will never make any money or gain anything from what I do.

To this day I held my promise that I made in both oaths.
