This thing looks like it's winding down. Is there any objection by anyone to moving this thread to the military fraud forum? Currently this is a private forum, so if there are any objections for ANY reason, shoot me a PM.

You want to move it to Military Fraud to make it public? I am for it. It's time I guess and people should know that you made all that research. It should be made public so everybody knows that Dale Peters is a poser. I don't know what Mike and the others are going to do tomorrow they said they will discuss this theme and I am sure they going to make a Statement about it, that is what we have to do, especially after so much was questioned, it would be wrong to just let it go now.

Doesn't matter what he did for the Veterans, he could have done the same without being a Recon Ranger.
Okay I am not in politics like he is, but that is still no reason to tell the untruth about your military background.(But that is just my opinion)

Why is he playing a badass Ranger what does it help when you always have to fear that someone can find out the truth about you liying to people? Especially in such a position like he is.... how could he ever become a Vet Rep?

He told me about that battle for that hill before the movie ever came out. And he told me just like the movie was. Dale also claimed to have been their.
I was there in 68-69 as a leg company commander in the Americal (A-4/3 Inf, 11th LIB, Americal Div.) and if what little grey matter I have left serves me, Westmoreland was out and Creighton Abrahams was running the show.

So I guess we will wait and see what happens on Monday. This shit gets stranger by the minute. I still don't think Dale Peters is his real name.
I'll be really surprised if he sends anything to Al. If he does send a DD-214 you can bet your ass that it's been doctored. Aren't copy machines wonderful? I'd like a blow up of it if he does send, just to compare the various fonts that will probably show up on it. Just remember....they didn't have word processors in 1969, just typewriters, and you can't get the letters right because each typrwriter ended up with minute little dings on the keys that were paticular to that typewriter. Something like rifling marks on a bullet.

I haven't seen much of "Dale 333's" posts because I haven't been on some of the places you have found him. I spend very little time on Mil.com because it's such a piece of crap with all the wannabees and trolls and "Furriners" looking for sensitive information. I think you guys did some pretty good detective work and you ought to bust this scum bag out ASAP.
Blow him away on every board he posts on.

    BTW....nice site you have here.

Thanks for the kind words Sir, we try hard to put our best foot forward and that little tidbit about General Westmoreland being gone already is just another nail in the coffin

I went over to another site (USMILNET) that you guys had indicated he frequented. I asked him some really basic questions about airborne that anybody who jumped in the 1968-1969 time frame would know. like:

1.There were two safety pins used in jumping. one was in the Static line connector, where was the other one?
2.What's on the other end of a static line?
    3.What's an apex?
4.How did you get out of your harness in 1968?
    5.What's the nominal diameter of a T-7A?
    6.How many suspension lines on a T-10
7.What state is Ft. Benning's DZ in?
8.What state is the major portion of Ft. Campbell in?
9.What Corps Area in vietnam did you serve in?

Wonder if I'll get an answer?

I believe he withdrew from both mil.com and milnet.

    (milnet) Gentlemen,

I have recieved intel (proof) of what some people have said here and on other forums about Dale.

I regret to inform you all that I just recieved an email from Dale asking me to delete his account here.

Regardless of my own personal opinions about this matter I would suggest that you all make up your own mind about the whole situation.

Here the mail I recieved minus header and time info----

Please remove me from this site after the emails that where sent to me ans Mary or una I no longer wish to be part of the site Dale P Peters

    ------

I hope that this situation does not have any negative side effects for the troops and support that Dale has given.

I am sorry for this disruption here.

His profile is gone from mil.com, or at least doesn't pop up when I click it.
