    lol......twice I was with details sent to the shake out towers then we were left sitting there after the detail was over, wasting away perfectly good beer drinking time. It got to be a running joke.

    I never had to shake out duty. Matter of fact I missed a lot of crap like that. For almost the first year in Division I was a Cook and then I because Company Armorer. For some reason the Army thinks food and weapons are more important then shit details... Go figure... lol

    Thanks but I didn't think it was that good. Yes I'll be bringing the grill, and this time we'll need to set up some shade (it was F'ing hot in the sun). I'll also get up a little earlier too, I missed out on some of the shooting and come back with too much ammo!

    How about pulling guard duty at the heavy drop rigging site, in December, with a foot of snow on the ground? Walking around the perimeter for 2 hours in the middle of the night, hoping someone would try and get in, just to relieve the boredom...
