Hello to the forum. I discovered this awesome forum while on ar-15.com. I was a leg MP from 1976 to 1979, the last half of that was with V Corps in Germany. My son is a firstie at West Point, will graduate on May 27th. I had the privilage of observing him make four of his five jumps at BAC last summer. I am immensely proud of my son the paratrooper! He has branched infantry, and intends to attend ranger school. A copy of the paratrooper's prayer is on the wall of my barber shop, along with a poster of a stick of combat rigged paratroopers with the signatures of the members of the official party that presided over my son's graduation from basic airborne school. I was so proud to be invited, along with all other former soldiers present, to recite the soldier's creed with the graduating students, as part of the solemn ceremony. My son is a fourth-generation soldier, the first in our family to be commissioned, and the first to be airborne!
