It's called the 180th Meridian......it divides the globe into an eastern and westerm hemisphere.
Asia is considered the far east on the globe, and the Americas are the far west.
If that seem confusing try this....name the States of the USA that are the farthest east, west, north and south on the globe.....bet you can't!
