Ha!! I got enough to worry about without having to put up with a 27 year old kid.

OK, first thing....rules. Your house and everybodies house has rules. He hleps out or gets out. He respects everyone and always remembers he's a guest. Don't let him forget that.

Next....He WILL do rehab and straighten his physical self out. It helps a ton with the mental self. If he don't wanna do it then he goes. Rules. Remember?

Don't worry about his sorry ass whining. Drink your beer in front of him and refuse to let him have one. He don't like it he's out. Your house. Your rules.

Third....He gets a job. Period. He pays rent or he's out.

In fact, I'd put him in the shed or the barn with no TV.

But that's me.

In fact, if you make his life there just short of miserable he'll eventually leave on his own. Rehab, no booze, no TV, go to work, put him on a diet, PT his ass if you can pull that off (digging post holes works or cleaning out the barn). Hell, most of us would get out of there the first chance we had.

In fact, if you make his life there just short of miserable he'll eventually leave on his own. That's pretty much the plan he is on. He's helpful and cheerful around the farm and will do anything you ask. Only luxury is snuff. He works enough here for that small thing. I've made him live in sheds and a raggedy old leaky pop up over a winter before. Basically he's just not interested in having anything, thus a job seems unimportant.

The problem is the semiannual episodes where he becomes a crazy drunken shithead who will steal you blind. Since I travel a lot with work I'm not generally around for these and have to break his balls when I get home and everyone else has calmed down. This leads me to believe he is faking all the nice nice bullshit.

I don't want a farm hand, and I certainly don't want what I consider to be a two faced smiling opportunistic prick here in my house.

As for the felony arrests....I can't figure the shit out. He gets arrested, gets out on bail after getting charged, then nothing fucking happens. He never has a court date assigned and the shit seems to just go away.....

#1 son Zeb (which several of you know) went to visit his uncle from deutschland at the BMW plant. He brought me moonshine jelly and and pure honey sourwood.

I kind of feel bad for some kids nowadays, that see a cool toy on tv that they want. They don't have a way of getting it, because their parents have to be 18 or older to call.
