I went to an Organized Shoot at a Club this morning and expended 60 rounds of .223 ammunition.
I have now used up a total of 1,141 rounds this year.

Even a single round expelled contributes to the safety of the State (and it is 100% more than at most of the places on Earth).

@Ironic-Mike:
Brother, thanks for keeping up the bearings high and clear.
I'm not at your score, but tomorrow I'm taking the "fresh blood" (my peers and my older daughter's agemates) to the Range.
If at their age I wasn't in the Airborne, was shot at, and matured the way you don't wish your kids go through, I'd say "Dog-gone-damn-kids".
But, thank God, they're from New American Generation, full of respect for Veterans, Constitution and 2nd Amendment.
Moreover, they ...expanded more ammo than me... big time.
And their gear makes me feel ...e-eh..."outdated".
They makes me feel proud and want to roll back 20 years or so...
Now I freakin' wonder... who is taking whom to the range???
God Bless America and it's newest generation!
P.S. Dog-gone kids, they're not what youngsters used to be...
...They're freakin' better!

Humility time:
I'm a Good shot, but I will bow down to Expert shots every time.
I can say that I'm better than the "Average Shooter". Most days my groups equal or surpass the best "Average" shooter. But then along would come a Serious and/or Expert shooter. An expert would have all five shots touch in the first picture, probably in the 1¼ inch diameter orange dot with room to spare. The Expert would have sent the flyer in the second picture into the Dot.
Range trip with "kids" went beyond expected.
My new 7.62x39 Draco AK pistol shoots 3-ft fireballs, generating "wows" across the range (this beast is coming to Sizzlah!).
.308 and .223 AR that "kids" dressed up to kabooze.
