    Had a buddy come by and shared his brew. We burned some pork ribs and had a grand old time. It's late and I'm not really sleepy so I put on a movie. Hellboy II. I get a kick out of this movie. It must be the 20th or 50th time I've watched it since I got back to Texas.

    And then in the beginning of it I saw something. hmmm....an epiphany? I don't even know what that is. I got an insight to something I'm thinking right now is pretty cool.

    Prince Nuada is taking back a piece of the crown at an auction and gets irritated. He yells at the squealing humans to sit down. Then he says to them...."Proud, empty, hollow things that your are." And I got that feeling. That epiphany. I think some of ya know what I'm saying. I see humans like that too. Proud, empty, hollow things.

    Very few of us walk this earth doing good for others and being good men. I didn't say nice men. Nice men want to hug and talk it over. Good men get the job done whatever it takes. I'm not a nice man. I'm a good man. And I see proud, empty, hollow things around me everyday.

    I guess it takes 50 tries to get it. I just noticed that statement tonight and understood it. I sympathize with Prince Nuada. I feel like that a lot.

    1st Batch is done! I only did 2 racks this time but have 9 more fish thawing and that will cover 4 racks. The spots you see are crushed red pepper. I say as I pat myself on the back
