Indian Chief 'Two Eagles' was asked by a white government official, 'You have observed the white man for 90 years. You've seen his wars and his technological advances. You've seen his progress, and the damage he's done.'
The Chief nodded in agreement.
The official continued, 'Considering all these events, in your opinion, where did the white man go wrong?'The Chief stared at the government official for over a minute and then calmly replied. 'When white man find land, Indians running it, no taxes, no debt, plenty buffalo, plenty beaver, clean water. Women did all the work, Medicine man free. Indian man spend all day hunting and fishing; all night having sex.' Then the chief leaned back and smiled. 'Only white man dumb enough to think he could improve system like that.'

I am not a Very Happy Fellow right now.
For the past two Saturdays I've been taking pictures of my M16 along with its Brand New Suppressor in action. I've been doing it the Old Fashion Way: a 35mm Single Lens Reflex Film Camera. About an hour ago I had the film developed and the pictures moved onto a DVD.
The problem is that only ONE Stinking Picture seems to have been transferred. The others, to include pictures of the suppressor itself alone, seem to be missing.
I shall be having words with CVS tomorrow morning/afternoon.![]()

There's something I'd really like to know. It isn't up there in the Grand Scheme of Things, but I'd sure like to know the answer.
As I was cleaning my M16A1 after a bit of shooting (see my thread about my new suppressor in the Armory), I remembered the Good Old Days in the Army. After our sessions at the Qualification Ranges, we'd partly clean our M16's by dunking parts of our weapons in opened half barrels of some cleaning fluid.
I've been wondering:
A: Just what is that stuff? Kerosene? What?
B: Where did they get it?
C: What did they do with it when we were all finished? Somehow I don't believe it was ever used to heat the Barracks. Especially in the Summer.
