    I went to have my eyes checked out yesterday.

    As many people here know, a while back at the range I shot holes into the target Next to me when shooting my Very Own M16A1 on Semi.

    As the tests show, I Really Do Need New glasses. How much worse they got I don't know. I really don't want to know either. But I have this adaption of an old routine I saw on TV once: After being led to the Range by a Seeing Eye Dog, I proceed to outshoot every shooter there ⅓ my age and younger.

    Five bucks says I might be able to outshoot KH too.

    I also had a regularly scheduled visit to my Family Doc, too. Everything checked out OK; my heart is still in the right place and pumping.

    But I'm having problems sleeping. I go to bed at pretty much the same time each night. But almost every night I wake up 3-4 hours latter and have trouble getting back to sleep. This means that my energy levels are way lower than they should be. So The Doc told me to get some Melatonin. Take one before I go to bed (along with all my other medications ).

    So I did just that last night. I still woke up around 3:00 AM. But, for a change, I woke up with a boner. A nice firm one. I may keep taking the Melatonin long after my problems with sleep go away.

    Waking up with a boner wasn't the problem for me. The problem came in when the wife didn't want to do anything about it!
