    Day 100.

Judging by the rate Other people have been getting their Form 4's APPROVED lately it is relatively safe to say I'm on or past the One Third mark of the way through the wait.

I've been waiting forever for my License to Carry here in Texas.

They may pass a law not requiring one before I get it.....

I dunno. Maybe the background check is hung up on the midget hooker websites.

    +1
Do they have a legal maximum time to get it to you? Here it's like 45 days.

Week 20. I should be at the Half Way mark either THIS Week or Next Weekend.

As for what's taking so long: OVER 10,000 Forms are in these boxes.
Great publicity for showing how popular Suppressors are, but they're messing things up for the rest of us.

Outstanding! The best place for it is on your person damn near 24/7.

Outstanding! Now adjust your lifestyle to carry damn near 24/7. Like your wallet. That gives you a very good answer if an attorney ever asks you why were you carrying on a particular day. If you can't answer that way and you just carry periodically, the question becomes why were you carrying on this particular day? If you felt the need for a firearm, why did you even go unless you were looking for a fight.

I've pretty much been carrying every day since I was 16 or 17. Except for school, the military, jury duty, ect...

I had the old Concealed Carry Permit but let it expire when I got my Personal Protective Officer's license. The state changed that one to only be valid when you were on the employee rolls of an active security company. THat faded out and became invalid over time since I don't do that anymore. However, Castle Doctrine had come about in the meantime that covered my vehicle. I'm a loopholer, obviously.

(snickering) When I first got MY License to Carry Concealed I spent more time finding a parking spot for my car than I spent in the County Sheriff's office.
And the - what - two or three times I renewed I STILL spent more time parking than I did fumbling with the paperwork or waiting on the renewals....
