Default .223 AK conversion to AR mag well and BHO

For comrades with AK and Saiga in .223.

There is new and ground-breaking player, Definitive Arms, LLC.

Since I rarely ever use AK mags in .223 (most of them are junk, as compared to well-defined 7.62 and 5.45 versions), might as well make it permanent.
And they designed true BHO, AR-style, watch video.
    Woo-hoo!!!

I feel it's like .223 AK vasectomy: you do it once and then have fun for as long as your barrel can take it.
And no worries about poorly behaving offsprings (low quality .223 AK mags).
Stick a good stuff in and rock'n'roll!

    No (excellent question!).

Definitive Arms installs adapters at their site.
    Here is more info about:
    http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_2_531/2...versions_.html

Shortly: you sent your own rifle in or select from their already converted stock, from barebones to "loaded".

    All right, Troops.
I am taking the plunge and AK rod through my ramp, but
    I AM GETTING IT!

Even more, I'm in direct contact with Company President, BIG Armed Forces supporter.
He will be taking orders for .223/5.56 Saiga and AK (converted to pistol grip or not) to permanent AR mag well with LRBHO.
Many custom options will be available; webpage should be up any day now, but production has started and orders being accepted.
Check here for details and no-obligations no money down waiting list (I'm skipping most of the line, 'cause I'm special; you know...
    ).

    http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_2_531/225527_DEFINITIVE_ARMS_is_taking_Pre_Order__No_Mon ey_Down_No_Obligation__Details_Inside_.html&page=1&anc=bottom#bottom

    (or LINK)

Company is looking into converting .223 Krinkovs down the line (AKS-74U, M-92, Arsenal
SLR-106U & other variants; sweet Heaven, some day I will get one).

Finally, an opportunity to use a single type of (AR) mag across both 5.56/.223 platforms (AR and AK). I believe, Vepr is also a "GO".

Even more prospects in the future: 7.62NATO mag well on .308 Saiga.

P.S. Since budget is skin-tight, new rifle will serve as "skeleton" for AKAR-M, my current custom-build DMR-type riifle.
Existing AKAR will be re-assembled into more of the standard configuration, but will retain current removable AR mag adapter (allowing using both, AR and AK mags), and offered for sale. Details later, but first shot will go to one of ours in Pacific Northwest, who contacted me earlier.

    Christmas comes earlier.
    Woo-hoo!

    Order placed.
    Can't freakin' wait!!!

Watch out for AKAR-M build-up journey, keeping original AKAR (Sizzler-5 rifle comp winner) within the Airborne community.
    Standby for details.
    Raven out.

You must have gotten this pic off the 'net, 'cause I don't see your pecker tracks all over the gun!

    Yeah, I must admit.
Mine is still in production, but already covered with UV-light detectable specimens all over.

...final touches are being put on.

I'm taking the load off Santa, getting my complete build shipped way ahead of his sled; but he can still have my cookie and milk, 'cause I'll be busy blasting in the woods.
    This Christmas is coming early!

    Incoming !!!

My new baby is being shipped.
I am stalking every UPS driver in proximity of my local FFL Dealer.
"Baby" food is lined up in 55 and 62 grains to start with.

Brand-spanking new Leatherwood CMR 1-4x red dot is sitting ready, drooling like a overhyped puppy, awaiting its state-of-the-art Midwest Industries 30 mm scope mount (following closely behind).

...I can hear the backup buzzer of UPS truck, and that sounds like a jingle bells to me.
    Woo-hoo!

    (Pictures will follow shortly).
P.S. Having been able to consolidate both platforms into AR/M mags use: priceless (during any type of political uncertainty)...

If anyone cares to secure the "ass-ault" Kalash and still use AR mags, Definitive Arms are swamped, but still taking orders here:

Chase was more than patient with me.
I'll post update on my rifle soon.

    It's here !!!

    (Did I say it's here???).
Lousy pictures to start with; full update ahead.

(Don't bother asking about the source of stains on receiver and handguard: it's "customer-generated"...).
