    Default Active Shooter Response Video

I deal extensively with this issue. This is probably the best video I have seen. It is about 6 minutes. I urge all of you to watch it and get your family to watch it as well.

It has been provided based off a Department of Homeland Security Grant
Funded Project and was produced by the City of Houston Texas Mayors Office of Public Safety and Homeland Security. It is a July 2012 production.

    Good vid, thanks.

It's worth mentioning an ironic moment- at 0:59 the shooter enters a business that is posted as a firearm free zone. The people in the office are prohibited by law from having a personal weapon for their own defense.
    The answer- November 6, 2012.

The question- What is the last day that Barack Obama has to make ANY pretense of not being an extreme leftist?

Agreed. That is one of the points I make.

Right. So, instead of shooting the shooter, everyone hides in a room and arms themselves with clubs hoping to beat him to death. That almost makes sense.

Guess they'd have to ban those clubs too. Awww..fuck it. It's all too stupid.

Thanks. I'm more comfortable with a Glock 19 in my hand (or holster, depending on situation). :)

Spray the extinguisher in his face, don't try to club him with it. Great video.

My entire working career, except for the military, I never carried a firearm. Not once was I assaulted, robbed, attacked, and I was only cussed at a few times. I've never felt a need for that particular security blanket. However, I do have several firearms in my home, now that I'm getting on in years. With my lungs being all screwed up, I am no longer capable of disassembling the bad guys.

Odds are I'll go my whole life without needing a firearm.

But I'm not about to gamble the lives or safety of myself, my wife, or my child on it. It might be low risk, but the stakes are too high for my taste.

ETA: Finished watching the video. It's definitely good advice for sheep.

Remember the old Risk management matrix? Any action that could result with a catastrophic result, even with a low probability of happening, still registers at least a "medium" for risk.
