Lo, there do I see my father. Lo, there do I see my mother, my sisters, and my brothers. Lo, there do I see the line of my people, Back to the beginning! Lo, they do call to me. They bid me take my place among them, in the halls of Valhalla! Where the brave may live forever!

Why do they always choose the ten round capacity for the restriction? Is it that 10 dead people is okay and 11 is too many? Are they just making it up because it's a neat, round number? Why 10? For hunting as they proclaim you don't need more than 2 or 3 without a reload at most.

    Why 10?

I think the 10 rd mag is a bench mark. Even on the open market anything over a 10 rd mag is usally called a hi-cap mag. My Bersa 9mm for example, comes with a 10 rd mag. A 13 rd mag is available and is listed as a hi-cap mag.

Illinois is always attempting to ban guns for the purpose of reducing crime. And yet if you look at their politicians, it's apparent that criminals don't need guns at all to get away with murder.

Gun control has always worked so well in history...oh shit wait, nevermind.
Well 10 round magazine capacities will keep a mentally deranged psychopath from killing somebody...shit, scratch that too.

These scared fuckers should focus on keeping violent criminals behind bars and prosecuting gun crimes to the max legal limit instead of trying to force me to carry a 10rd magazine in my XD45 instead of a 13 rounder.

The activities of the social/communist leaders in the People's Republic of Illinois is one of the reasons I left working on the USPSA Natls Staff...they insisted on having matches at PASA which is outside of Quincy. While the area supported the matches; tax dollars went to Springfield. I will not support a regime that has subjects ..the people of Illinois have to ask permission to be allowed to be ammo and must posses a FOID to complete the sale. Always amazes me how folks flock to IL to hunt and all of their taxes go to support these activities. Must be me and my hardcore belief that shooters, hunters, outdoors-man need to speak with the wallets for their beliefs not just their puters and mouths.
