I got a Hunting Season Special flyer (damn near a book) from Bass Pro with a big full-page notice that to commemorate the 2nd Amendment, they will reduce the price of any firearm in stock by the amount of sales tax on its purchase. Further, if the customer uses (or applies for and uses) a Bass Pro credit card, they will get an additional 10% off the purchase. I imagine their everyday 10% military or veteran discount would also apply, but possibly not in conjunction with the CC discount.
At my neighborhood Bass Pro, that amounts to an 18.25% discount.
Sale runs between Aug. 3-19 and applies to in-stock firearms. I'll look around and see if I can find a link to post with additional info.
