You will note that I did not use the fuckers name for that exact reason, he no longer deserves a name. A number is more than what he deserves, until he is offed in a prison, slowly, not legally.

Infamy is usually a major contributing factor in motivating these scum. Shame on the media for bowing to his wishes. His name should never have been used at any time during this fiasco. We have to start discouraging this shit somehow.

Based on his actions in the courtroom today, I'm willing to bet he's going to try and get an insanity plea or be declared incompetent based on insanity

Lets not look at this on a micro scale.....lets look at this on a macro scale.....

A few weeks ago DHS sends out orders to all pax reference a non specific threat to of all things.....mass gatherings including movie theatres

Now you throw in the current UN treaty being discussed in NY as we speak

Add those to a bag and agitate vigorously and you try and get the desired reacting for justification to end run our 2nd Amendment rights....not overtly but through another organization were you subvert our Constitution and give our collective sovereignty over to a "higher" form of government.

Again on the macro issue.....our rights have been slowly eroded away over time....This involves both the "Red" team and the "Blue" team...

I don't know that punishment in a situation like this is any more relevant than with a rabid dog. The thought is as useless as the idea of deterence. The best thing society can do in a situation like this is kill two birds with one stone by putting the critter out of its misery and at the same time protecting innocent folks from any further harm.

The idea of getting caught or even getting the death penalty doesn't appear to be much deterrence to these wackjobs. If they can achieve their "moment of glory" the consequences are worthwhile.

Now, if a potential mass murderer KNEW that he ran a very high risk of getting gunned down before he could rack up a headline-grabbing body count then it might steer him in a different direction (although it would probably steer him into bomb-making so who the fuck knows). But this would require a lot more people to take an active part in creating a safer society--by carrying responsibly--instead of paying someone else (LE) to do it for them. We're always hearing stories of departments getting trimmed down because of budget cuts and people want to increase their reliance on LE to prevent all bad things from happening.

This had already come to my mind also. This idea gives me the heebiejeebies.

Also a great distraction tool for the election/economy since both parties have run out of valuable info they are allowed to use on each other.
