Welcome to the site; don't worry about the heat - Ft. Campbell is a cold front compared to other places in the summer (Ft. Benning comes to mind?), besides - what doesn't kill you makes you stronger!

Just a tip, start practicing map reading, land nav and compass work unless you enjoy being the butt of a lot of "2LT with a compass" jokes when you get your first platoon.

Welcome and good luck getting the Bullwinkle badge, I went through whop whop school up at Ft. Richardson back in the 80's. It wasn't too hard for me but I was a paratrooper and failing or quitting wasn't an option that ever entered my mind.
