A good program overall, but I had one major issue with it. But I'm not mentioning what that issue is here. But if you're friends with Looon on Facebook, he posted a good article that hits the nail on the head.

I saw the article Looon posted and read his thoughts on it. I think that is an internal issue with the Regiment and I am sure it will be sorted out there. Seeing this is a Paratrooper site I hope it does not become a debate here- the only folks who really can comment ( what Looon posted) are those who belong to that community.
Zulu-
I got it. Started reading it, give me this weekend. I will post back. Can you post / pm me your response on FB via pm?
Ops I get what you are saying above. Let us keep this out of the open.
Back room? Not back door IED.

The honor grad Porter seemed like a douche. He must have been doing things right off camera but I saw a lot of yelling and commands from him and not a lot of helping. I'm not an NCO yet but I've been in leadership positions and you can always catch me rucking the 240 or hopping up and down off trucks mounting the heavys, cleaning weapons etc. Lead by example, team player and all that.
I didn't see the show. But what I gather with the questions on here is kind of simple.
First there is confusing numbers thrown out.
Second there is more confusing statements made in the story posted.
All I can say for sure is don't forget the young studs have to go to a Pre RASP. That is where they get the unworthy sent down the road. What I don't like is something when a few failed land nav. They still passed?WTF.
I understand this new way is sending young Men to the 75th. ready to deploy ASAP. I like that.
It is 2012 not 1990's Things change for the better. Most of the time that is. The 75th will not lower standards to be PC.
