Glad you caught it early. I was 49 when diagnosed stage 4 bladder/prostate cancer. Chemo/radiation were no longer a viable option. Radical surgery removed all, and thankfully the lymphs were clean. They built me a new bladder out of a chunk of intestine, and five years later I was declared cancer free.

    UPDATE:

Had the Brachytherapy on 31 July...75 seeds implanted into the prostate. 18 needles inserted into the perineum (Taint for you laymen). Catheter for 2 days and then freedom. Back at work, so far no real issues. I do not want to repeat this at any time in the near future! Follow up every 4 months for the next couple of years! Thanks to you all for the prayers and well wishes! HooAH!
