    Default Hosni Mubarak Dead...

    http://content.usatoday.com/communit...after-stroke/1

I don't know about this one. It's no secret the Brotherhood wanted him dead, is getting control of the key facets of Egypt's government and intended to kill him anyways. On top of that Mubarak was fearing for his life prior to his death (he will be soon) as seen here:

I suspect we're watching a similar purging take place in Egypt to what we saw in Iran when the Shah was ousted, only this time we have an extremist Sunni Salafist/Wahabbist flavor to it. Dark times ahead...

Whenever I see us turn on this or that "president" I recall what JFK said about Anastasio Somoza (I hope I remembered the spelling right) of Nicaragua, "He may be an SOB, but he's our SOB!" Somoza may have been a crooked SOB and dictator but if my memory is correct, Nicaragua enjoyed one of the highest standards of living in that region when he was in charge.

Then there was the Shah, Carter (the same guy who DXed Somoza) screamed bloody murder over the Shah's human rights violations. Was Iran (not to mention OUR interests) better served with what they have now? Why don't we ask the protesters from a few years back.

Now, was Mubarek a nice guy? Probably not. But I cannot help but believe the average Egyptian willl realize a few years down the line (when it is too late) they were better off with him than without him - and I KNOW our foreign policy interests - not to mention Middle Eastern stability is much more shaky than it was two years ago.

You hit the nail on the head! Not only was Mubarak "our SOB," but he was at least secular. Now we have the progenitor of Al Qaida, PLO and Hamas as the new order in that country. Dr. Zawahiri, the current head of Al Qaida, is Muslim Brotherhood (and even involved in the Sadat assassination!). Coptic Christians are being lynched. Oh, and all those moderate oppositionists? The Brotherhood has already started setting their gunsights on them. We've seen how purgings like this occur. Get that foot in the door, marginalize/target the other oppositionists and establish their brand of governance-which is often times NOT what the rest of the opposition had in mind. If history is any indicator, this will not end well...

The big 'o' 's lack of leadership is going to end up killing more people than the plague would. There are so many horribly brutal scenarios that could unfold from all this that could reverberate for decades.

Even Putin was apparently scolding the school teacher for mucking things up.

And don't let the American media get you pointed in the wrong direction about Russia, they have a hard core patriot running that place. Putin climbed to the top of that country with a bloody knife in his hands in the KGB, he's also a martial artist and hunter as opposed to 'o' 's gay bike helmet and window hangings.

Agreed. A great example of this is the news of stationing 13,000 troops at Kuwait:

And to think this all comes just as a new Saudi crown prince is installed, who 's in his late 70's BTW. I see more than a few potential powder kegs here. Needless to say, I have some real concerns about his failing to understand the middle eastern problem set...

My HH6 is convinced he knows exactly what he's doing in the Middle East (as I am convinced he knows exactly what he's doing to bring our economy to its knees) - as a good (if closet) Muslim, he is doing everything he can to hand the Middle East over to Muslim radicals. He's just waiting till he is re-elected so he can have more "flexibility." I'm tempted to believe he's a Muslim except for one thing - he can't worship Allah, he's too busy adoring himself.

As for Putin, you've scored a direct hit. He is an old hardline Russian Communist who wants to see Mother Russia as the world power (with him in control of Russia).

I don't think Obama is a Muslim, but I do think he's an atheist and a socialist/closet communist. In my opinion that's worse. At least Muslims believe in a higher power. Leftists worship themselves or some dictator like Mao, Che, Fidel, Hugo Chavez etc. I have some deep reservations about all this Arab Spring support, and I'm more disturbed at the fact there are plenty of republicans who are advocating an expanded role in this support, such as Lyndsey Graham and John McCain. Syria is a place we have no business being, and if we do get involved somewhere later down the line, we'll find ourselves in open conflict with Iran and Hezbollah, who are both very active over there right now. In addition to this is the fact the Muslim Brotherhood/Al Qaida are fueling the insurgency and yet here are elected officials of OUR government calling for supporting these people! It's bad enough we supported a rebellion in Libya where only 1-2 yrs ago were sending foreign fighters to fight and kill US Soldiers in Iraq-from the very same camps the anti-Qadaffi offensive was launched from. I really don't like the direction we're going here, not one bit...

Y'all missing the Big Picture... he was on Obama's list. It was a Paki Doctor on the payroll that fingered Bin Laden, and it was likely an Egyptian Doctor on the payroll who put a needle into Mubarek.

Don't disagree with you at all. I don't really think he's a true anything (faith-wise) and should have phrased that better. I do believe he has great sympathies for Islam over Christianity from his early years in Indonesia going to the Muslim schools; I've always told my wife (who is convinced he's a Muslim) that he worships himself too much to submit to any other god. He only joined Jeremiah Wright's church (pretty much admits it in his book) because it was THE cultural center of the black community in Chicago and where he could establish a base of political power in his crime - career. Note: I typed "Crime" without thinking and didn't catch it till I re-read it. Decided to keep it.

I have the same suspicions about his connections to Wright. The Bill Ayers and Van Jones ties are even more disturbing...

What do you mean? I just merely stated that Obama, like any socialist or communist, worships only themselves or some other dictator. A "muslim with an H-bomb" has nothing to do with it. Bottom-line is the man isn't fit to serve in the Oval Office, but the birther and muslim BS only adds more ammunition for him and his supporters. How about we focus on what he really is: a far-left ideologue who follows the teachings of Alinsky, Trotsky and Mao. An ideologue who has dinner parties with domestic terrorists like Mr. Ayers. An ideologue who despises the US military. There's plenty of stuff to go after him with that would be an accurate and much more effective.

I would, depending on the Muslim/Atheist/Communist in question.

I can understand that because you were not around in 62' ---The commies did not believe in a paradise after death if the bombs started to fly.If a Muslim leader was in charge of the U.S.S.R. at the time ?
