Does your computer display the correct date and time? Most likely not the CMOS battery going, it would cause errors on more than one web page, generally more and more pages are using certificates for security purposes, make sure you do what's been mentioned, if possible update to the latest version of your browser and/or try another browser, IE is still not highly regarded for it's security and user protection
