Any discussion of the sexiest best designed 9mm is not complete without a full custom Hi Power, this one by Heirloom Precision. This is the 1st run of the 1911 pistols in 1912! Look at the fit and finish and the workmanship. If I were not buying a house right now, I would buy this! This is what Colt 1911s used to look like! This was the time when Americans were proud of their manufacturing processes.
After some further research and being educated by people who know, I realize now that the intrinsic collector value of this piece has been ruined by the work that was done on it. DON'T BUY THIS PISTOL!

I don't know. Looks like it's been refinished and not with a very good buff job on the edges/corners/flats.

It's that "melted" look, the process to get rid of all the sharp edges. Whoever did this ruined the value of a collector piece. On Her Majesty's Secret Service, one of the killers had a SIG210. Also in the Wild Geese, Roger Moore carried one.
