Default MSNBC’s Chris Hayes says "Hero" problematic with fallen Warriors

"I feel uncomfortable about the word 'hero' because it seems to me that it is so rhetorically proximate to justifications for more war," Hayes said. "I don't want to obviously desecrate or disrespect the memory of anyone that's fallen, and obviously there are individual circumstances in which there is genuine, tremendous heroism, you know, hail of gunfire, rescuing fellow soldiers and things like that. But it seems to me that we marshal this word in a way that is problematic. But maybe I'm wrong about that."

Why is it that every dickheaded peacenik rails against the soldiers instead of the fucking politicians who decide where they go?

Fuck that guy with rusty microphone.

Like I said on an Army Buddy's post on FB about this issue; that O2 thief Hayes has been given the Freedoms that he enjoys courtesy of these fallen heroes, that elsewhere in this world you don't have. If that fucker (Hayes) doesn't want them any more then don't let the door hit his ass on the way out of the great nation.

I'm not sure what he is apologizing for, but one thing for sure, he doesn't get it.

But, they said Whitney Houston was a hero.....Why? Cause she could shove the coke spoon further up her fucking nose? I know why the fucking liberals act like this. It's because they know it drives us crazy and gives us aneurysms and shit and they hope that pretty soon, we will just implode and go away. It has to be a conspiracy because Darwin says that if you're really that stupid, your gene pool should dry up.

The farther to the left, the more the hatred towards the military. They see it as the arm of American imperialism.

They pretend they don't because they have to.
    The answer- November 6, 2012.

The question- What is the last day that Barack Obama has to make ANY pretense of not being an extreme leftist?

I have long noticed that the media folk only seem to see their counterparts (war correspondents) as being brave and heroic.

The hippo is unpredictable and aggressive with old scars and fresh, deep wounds providing signs of daily fights that are accompanied by much bellowing, neighing and snorting.

Yup. It's just another example of the civilian-military divide. Sadly, I find there are plenty of conservatives who are just as insulting and arrogant in their feelings and comments about the military as their liberal counterparts. It should really come as to no surprise with the small numbers of people in public office who actually served...
