If the beer didn't turn out right, he would probably have found a way to blame it on Bush.

Sorry-

I think I read somewhere that it was extract brewed.
This means whoever did the brewing (not Obama) started with a malt syrup, added hops and boiled.
Traditional (all grain) brewing uses malted barley that is milled, mashed, boiled, hoped, etc.

BTW, I brewed a butt-load of cream ale yesterday.
