Alrighty folks, yours truly and our borrowed C-17A are on display like a zoo monkey for the civilian masses at the Andrews AB Airshow, Washington DC, Friday through Sunday. If your in the AO come poke and prod me into action and I just may give you a squadron sticker......

BTW we'll be the Charleston crew on the McChord jet sitting by thee C-5 and B-52.....

Wings over Whiteman AFB is this weekend as well.

B2s and Warthogs!! Longbows, Golden knights, B25s, and civilians can even fly into the AFB, once the heart of nuke defense of the USA.

And best of all... absolutely NO chance in hell Obama will pop over in his SEAL Team 6 outfit like he might at Andrews...

I always give tours to folks I know!! I think Charleston is also doing Pittsburgh again this year in July, so there is a fall back option for ya.

Would love to make the trip but alas duty calls and this weekend is the premier event for Hboro in other words it is HOG DAY here, not the M/C or Police but the BBQing kind. I will be taking the BMW amongst the masses and eating good BBQ. Would rather see your ugly mug and the bird tho. Oh welll off to save the world

The second was a chap from the 173rd 68-69 503rd. Gave them the addy here, hopefully they show up.

Sitting in the bar last night,with another Loadie out of March AB, Cali, a former Marine 0311.

Him: Dude, the only thing Army Infantry has over Marine Infantry is you got them Jump Wings....

Me: The only reason I let you hang out with me is because you WERE Infantry...but your still a LEG. And I'll tell you something, if a fat, out of shape Army Reserve Finance puke walked in here wearing a set of Jump Wings and an 82nd Airborne combat patch, I'd leave your dumbass sitting here alone at the table while I went over and sat with him.....that's what the fucking Brotherhood is all about!!!

This is me at Big Al's aircraft. I visited earlier in the day, but it was lunchtime, and he was out getting BBQ -- at least that's what his crewmate said.
It's too bad- I was going on and on to my bud about how I knew these paratrooper types, and one of 'em was gonna be there with his plane today, and all kinds of blather. :-)
