This is exactly what I have been talking about. We did not use acronyms when we spoke, it could cause confusion. Every unit has privates and second lieutenants, it had to be kept simple.

avatar478_85.gifI know most all of you will be delighted to know that I have been accepted as a member of this foremost Airborne secret society. I am so proud I could burst.

Now I just have to figure out how to get it on my signature line, along with my Recondo patch, and the Squawking Hawk with Airborne tab. So far, all I seem to be able to accomplish is the Recondo patch. Maybe a set of wings would be cool.

    And my ducky too

    Any suggestions?

Take all the pictures you want to use in your signature and make them into one picture using GIMP or some similar photo editing software. GIMP is free open-source software and pretty easy to use.

Oh yeah, and any acronym good enough for Tango & Cash is good enough for a clan.

The 1949 edition of the Glossary of US Naval Abbreviations 29-P1000, published by the Office of Naval Records and History, shows FUBAR as a recognized acronym at least as early as 1949 (explained as Fouled Up Beyond All Recognition).

Granted, it's USN, not Army Airborne but clearly it's been around awhile. My Uncle (former destoyerman) had a cat named FUBAR running around when I was a kid.

Go to the secret Rally Point, use the super secret handshake, copy the
Clan FUBAR logo, go to "edit sig line", and paste within sig line.

No, No, Nope....It's got to be Army. I live in a Navy town, those fuckers are just plain weird anyway. Navy doesn't count.....well unless they're SEALS, then that's OK. SEALS are normal people. I have a few friends that are SEALS.

John, do you have a photo site (like PhotoBucket) to upload your photos? You can load them up there then use the img code (automatically provided to you - you'll see) to paste into your sig for each picture and you'll be set.

I don't have photo bucket Jeff. I just have to find the time to sit down at my computer and try to figure it out. My current project is learning Aspire. It's a 3-D woodcarving program.

I bought a CNC router, put every penny I had into it, so that is my top priority right now. Although I have to admit BSing around with you guys here is a heck of a lot more fun, and has been getting more time than I had planned.

Here is a picture of what I bought. I'm learning the program and soundproofing my garage to ward off the neighbors. The machine itself is fairly quiet, it's the dust collector I'm worried about.
