I had a good idea once, back in 1971, but Top showed me the error of somehow believing the Army paid me to think. You'uns living on the eastern US coast can be glad he liked getting fucked-up drunk and forgetful cause North Cackalackey was slowly but surely being pushed into the earth's superheated core by yours truly.

BlueDevil is a big boy and can defend himself but I am chiming in if I may. I sent him over here and I verified who he is, if he is not a paratrooper he has a hell of alot more to deal with than APO, he would be getting a huge BAH cut. With that said he is a paratrooper and I work with him on a daily basis and referred him to what I feel is and outstanding site with outstanding veterans, a place where you can learn alot. He was verified by OPNS when he made the post, and he was following the SOP like a good Training NCO should. In defense of Loon even though he was verified via email there was a small gap inbetween him being verified and it showing up under his name. All in all this hooah took the initative (like a paratrooper should) read the SOP and came up with an idea and moved out sharpley. He did the right thing but ike everything it is all perspective.

I think it's a damn fine and desirable idea, whether it was made by a cherry site member, an admin, or a wannabe outsider just trying to play with the big kids. I don't read anything in the site FAQs or rules about a time-in-service requirement for a proposing an idea, good or bad.

And for the record, my comments on the logistics of adding such a feature were in no way meant as an admonishment but rather just an explanation of why it might be more work and cost for the admins than is possible, even if it is a good idea. Good grief, it's a web site, not SOCOM.

The idea is good, and, as you have already discovered, has been dicussed
in the past. But, as Ops has already stated, the Site has grown into a "Community".
(Which is FANTASTIC in my books).

    Here is the problem...

The APO addresses are now associated with the TPA/APO business. I use mine for
professional contacts setting up Reunions, minting coins, gathering products for The Hook Up,
etc. So you can see, not knocking anyone's integrity, how it needs to remain only available
to those conducting business on behalf of APO/TPA.

However, please keep the idea's coming in...Interaction between the Membership and Staff
will continue to help develope APO/TPA, and keep us on the right path.

    Thanks,

    RH

SO hows about the admins register the domain "www.paratrooperswithgiantpeckers.com and selling email addresses for that?

    just a thought...
