What gets me..disclaimer..(as I have a few Miller Lites in me)is these frickin posers have no idea what they are perpetrating. I have, as many of you lost comarades who have earned these titles. I SAY AGAIN...earned these titles as Paratroopers, Combat Infantryman, Operators and the like, to have these tools just go to their local Army Surplus and steal what those before us, and after us have earned. They are stealing and riding on the coat-tails of true American Heros and treasures, the ones who gave the ultimate sacrafice. These heroes are protecting the right of these spineless cowards to coast on achievements of those they are walking on (would these sluggs leave their creature comforts, children crying and lack of an audience to stand up for what they believe in). You, me and we understand what our comrades have given up, and it was not for something that sounds cool embroidered on a piece of cloth, or something you can shine, its to stand tall next to their brothers and to protect my children and theirs. We as country are to busy trying to find out why, or label them with a psychological illness, the thing is I no longer care about them, why they do what they do and I pray they "reap what they sow". I care about THOSE WHO GAVE THE ULTIMATE SACRAFICE..let not these stains detract from their leagacy as heroes, thank you the true "Silent Professionals"

I've always maintained that the rightful punishment for these posers is to enlist them in the service they pretend to, with a required length of stay and service until they earn every badge, medal and rank they put on as a fraud. They'll never make it, but it would be good for morale of those who do. The douchebags can pull all the guard duty and shit details for real soldiers until they get beaten to death.

Yeah I thought so but I wasn't sure. The last thing I want to do is go bothering a real Soldier, call him a fake and find out I was wrong,but,....I'm gonna go bother him.

I posted that poser on my FB wall, letting all my non-military friends see that posing happens. One of them asked me why was it a big deal that he was a poser, why get upset. This was my response:

Because people like this tend to scam the VA for benefits and get everything from medical care to money. They've also scammed charitable organizations such as Wounded Warrior, etc. A lot of these guys buy medals and such, parading around and getting attention/recognition/etc from media and other organizations. When they do this, they normally get burned b/c they have no idea what they're talking about and then a real vet spots it. That vet will tell those who got fooled by this guy. Then those people are less likely to care about or believe the real thing when it comes around. For those that have earned it, its disrespectful to claim to be something you're not. The ones who've earned medals/etc have went through some rough shit to earn them; and for someone to just go out and buy them, and try to gain profit/benefits/etc from that-well I call that person a piece of shit with no integrity.
