Unless it is exactly what they want, those in the system need to realize that eventually, others will start seeing the lack of justice in cases like this will never be for them and a reaction of any degree may develop. Course, by the current regime and the MSM, any untoward reaction would only be seen as more "racism". Pretty soon, there could be a pretty vicious circle developing.

Just to reaffirm my support of what Mac said.....I am 34 fixing to be 35, what the fuck!? Had nothing to do with slavery, couldn't care what color or ethnicity you are (hadjis can go fuck them selves and I'll be glad to say it in Arabic so they understand me). It is about character. You can be black purple or red and be a man of character, and I'd be your friend. In opposite of that, you can be any of those things and be a douchebag....and well I'd like to punch you in the face.

Anybody ever read Kozol's 'Savage Inequalities' or work/live amongst some of the more impoverished areas of America? I've lived all over the world and worked in some of the poorest areas of America, and, despite the many opportunites offered here, I've found life in the USA to be every bit as fickle a mistress as anywhere else - especially if you're outside the perceived norm for whatever reason(s).

Like many things, though, I guess it all depends upon one's world-view...

Not to be argumentative, but there were plenty of blacks oppressed well into the 1960s when the Civil Rights movement began in earnest. Getting hung or beaten and dragged behind a truck til you're dead isn't any better than slavery. There are still economic disadvantages that come with being a minority regardless of where you live in the world.

Except Canada, of course, they're all fukkin perfect up there. Just ask Michael Moore ...but don't talk to any of the First Nations people.

Nobody has said anything about "excusing" anything - but it does show there may be extenuating and/or mitigating circumstances involved in the community's decision to take such actions - might make for an interesting trial for all involved.

When I said "Zimmerman" the hand shaking and visiting stopped and they went back to thier' campsite. When leaving Sunday I had some firewood left. I offered it to that group since they weren't rolling up camp yet. A young woman told me they didn't need it with her voice and face full of venom.

I tried to tell the improbability of this to a black co-worker years ago and he flat out called me an ignorant liar. I said what is the probability of white men going into a jungle area where all the natives know the lay of the land, hunt and trap there and not being able to hide or counter-attack if they were chased. Blacks will have none of this logic.

I worked with this same guy for 12 years civil service. We all made the same pay and we all knew it. One day he asked me to borrow ten dollars. I said I could not spare it. He said "come on, all white people have money".

Compare this to the American Indians. They refused to be enslaved and fought the invading Europeans until they were almost extinct.
