Wounded Warrior Match

Short notice:

If you are in the SE Virginia area this weekend (21st, Saturday) Norfolk County Rifle Range (in Chesapeake) is having a Wounded Warriors match to honor two recently passed vets. All proceeds will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Foundation.

Match is an "IDPA-style" match. More info at the link. Approx. 75 rounds, 8 stages.

Me and a buddy from North Cakalaky will be shooting in the afternoon.

Had a great time. Eight stages with superb SO's and it was a well run match. It's a "1st Annual" so it'll happen again next year. They gave all proceeds to the Wounded Warrior Project (so no trophies) which is great!

Four stages were Limited Vickers (short, low round count, "drill" type stages) while four were "run and gun" high round count, with movement stages.
