This Airman exemplifies the meaning of professional and heroic. Capt Crawford is a poster child for AFSOC and its finest. Now he is working to be a pilot; talk about the super type A. Good on ya Capt. :

What was most sad about this was the post award press conference. The Capt fielded questions from the pool, however the full bird Col from the AFNG who is the media person. She responded to one question from the pool regarding the Capt Crawford's position; and she said his boss thinks he is a great dedicated airman, who is assigned to STS---WHATEVER THAT IS... .. one would think you might know the background of the awardee; I mean there are so many AF Crosses awarded.

Drive on Capt...you are a true hero, many folks are alive today because of your actions....
