    Your help would be appreciated! I am currently in afghanistan, so I don't know who the POC would be for switching to active. Do you know if I would still need the DD-368 to be conditionally released from the Guard? Also, wondering if it's possible to choose duty station...more importantly, airborne units. Problem being I am not yet airborne qualified so I'm guessing I'd need a miracle to get airborne as well. Thank you

    Shouldn't need a conditional release as you are on Title 10 active duty right now.

    I tracked down contact info for an E-6 NG career counselor (at BAF I believe.) I was basically told I'm fucked for talking to a recruiter until I re-deploy home, as there are no recruiters in country. Doesn't seem to make sense to me...I know for a fact that people have been able to go active while on Title 10 orders...
