Your favorite big bastard, West by God native will be in NYC on June 12th through the 17th. I was fortunate enough to call Fort Hamilton in Brooklyn to reserve some rooms YEP ROOMS<------ plural! And I have tickets to see the DMB play at The Nikon at Jones Beach. YES, Im a Dave fan.
The rooms will be for after hour drinking and post MOB shindiging. I extend the offer to join. Im taking the cousin and a few dirty girls (you know how I roll) and a few friends from WV who have never done the NYC thing. Fort Hamilton has cheap lodging (for the area) and I've stayed there before.
ANYWAY! Bring that ass if you're in the AO.

Nice, I'm a Dave fan too. Been able to see him several times at the Gorge overlooking the Columbia River in WA.

I bet the Gorge made for an EPIC Dave show. I've seen some videos from the Gorge shows and I've walked around with a permanent semi ever since.

Yeah, it's consistently an amazing place to see any show. The backdrop has the sun setting behind the stage above the ledge overlooking a cliff above the huge Columbia River with open fields all around for miles, and a vineyard next door. The DMB has played a Fri, Sat, Sun set in late August every year since 1999. The campground is a huge open field room enough for many thousands of people, one huge party. One year I was able to work as a local roadie to help break down the stage after the last show. Good times.

Worked in Manhattan for years, did my MEPS thing at Ft.Hamilton a few times(regulars and reserve)plus living in Brooklyn...and,of course, moved from Eastern LI in August '06. As for Jones Beach..saw Kid Rock,RUN DMC, and AeroSmith(one show!)back in '02. Great place to see a show brother! Don't forget to go see Ground Zero(I worked about 10 blocks from there for years including on 9/11),EAT REAL PIZZA, grab a Sabrett frank from one of the guys on the street...and take plenty of pics. PM me closer to the time(end of May,say)and I'll see if I can hook you up with some stuff from my bros still in LE up there.

THAT! Is what I'm talkin about Brother. I will get in touch with you around the make or break time. I havent been to Ground Zero since they have started the construction. Actually, I havent been back to the city in about 4-5 years. Im getting excited already. Its something to look forward to man.

And to new guy HoJo. I grew up on Dutch Creek off Rocky Fork Road. Its close to Sissonville and Cross Lanes/Charleston area. Lived in Teays Valley/Huntington before I signed my life away. Yep.....holler boy. I'm sure they've warned you about me ;)
