Facebook Connect

You may notice a couple of new Facebook buttons in certain areas of the forums. As of this evening you can now, if you choose, link your Facebook account to your account here at APO. First of all, you will notice the Facebook button in the upper right hand area of the forums. This is where you can actually link your account. Linking your account will give you the ability to "Like" threads (located below the "Reply to Thread" button above the first post of a thread, on the left hand side) and post them to FB as well as new threads you may create. Finally, you are also able to post replies to threads to FB; that is via the "Reply to Thread" button in the threads. Hit me with any questions, comments or concerns you may have.

Well daaayum, This is good.......Right? Questions--Are these threads going to be visible on F.B. ? Will it be an option ? Just checking the privacy factor....
And ooooooohhhh what does this button do?

These postings to FB will be on our own FB Timeline/Feed, not APO's FB page.

yup, privacy would be my only question?

Edit: Your main (forum) page FB button looks broke...did you let dark play with it? If so, you had to know he was going to break it.

Also (in case you were wondering), the "post to Facebook" feature is only active on the public side of the house. Backroom/secure areas will not post to FB.

Just an FYI. If you are concerned about PERSEC
issues with your personal G2, as I was. Clean up your "About"
you section. Which contains personal info you may have put in
there.

I was in the Cigar Club under the thread "What does FUBAR mean" I posted a quick reply and noticed in the Thread info box next to my screen name, my real first and last name in black letters. I just linked APO with by Face Book page a few days ago. How do I keep my FB name off APO? Do you know how I did it?

Maybe this is just for you to view? I don't see anybody's real name here on APO.
