It may be a bone spur.

That means you have to replace the milk (provides unwanted calcium to plate out on your bones) in your diet with bourbon (which acts as a solvent and flushes unhealthy minerals from your system)

    I'm just saying...........

My family doctor believes it's O-S, or something akin. Yes, he said I'm about 20-25 years out of the window; but symptoms are close. No over the counter product works to any degree. Now using Voltaren Gel 5x daily. Can't take NSAIDS p/o due to ulcers. :(

How would I EVER get promoted if I stop kneeling? :D

Absolutely. That's like what I feel. Tearing, piercing, stinging.

    • Swelling of the knee, in some cases.
    • The knee buckling or "giving way," as though the knee suddenly won't support your weight.
    • Or....you could just have inflamation of the bursa behind the knee cap. Anti-inflamatories, ice, rest are tha basic solutions.
That's why I'm no longer a Soldier. That's the condition marked in my records; presented along with my 15-year-long Plantar Fasciitis. After 18 months of rest, therapy, and what-not Active Duty gave up, and sent me through a Med-Board.

Here's part of my MRI - I've circled what I (as a layman) believes shows inflammation in the patellar tendon. Anyone notice anything - feel free to offer your advice/non-official comment, etc.

I'll try the Bourbon idea! :D

Right now it's 10/325 percosets for pain, as needed.

    FIM92A,

That Voltaren stuff is some whack shit. I would put a catepillar size dose on my knee, rub it in, and in about 10 minutes I would be puking. Had to stop using it.

patella_tendon.jpg[/QUOTE] You may have some inflamation....you do not appear to have much of a bursa behind the patella, nor do you have much of a meniscus either so it would only be right that you would have inflamation. Not sure if the white dot inside your circle is a free-floating piece of calcium deposit or not (which would cause pain and/or tenderness.) My final diagnosis.....you my friend have the Kneesles! Good luck....and increase your alcohol consumption.

Hey Mac, Thanks a lot! I appreciate your input on the scan. I don't have the scans with me, but from what I recall, other scans show a little more miniscus - but yeah, the bursa looks about the same
