I spent last year in Afghanistan, visiting and talking with U.S. troops and their Afghan partners. My duties with the Army’s Rapid Equipping Force took me into every significant area where our soldiers engage the enemy. Over the course of 12 months, I covered more than 9,000 miles and talked, traveled and patrolled with troops in Kandahar, Kunar, Ghazni, Khost, Paktika, Kunduz, Balkh, Nangarhar and other provinces.
What I saw bore no resemblance to rosy official statements by U.S. military leaders about conditions on the ground.

No surprise here...just glad someone had the balls to say it

Shame. What to do, what to do? Do we bring the troops home and fight the war on terror Stateside? Do we fire the gov't and the senior military and replace them with Americans?

What we will do is continue to sacrifice blood and treasure at the whim of the traitors in the .gov and the 'perfumed princes' in the military, until we bring the war home and our spouses, and children will pay with their blood on our own soil. Simultaneously we will sacrifice more and more freedoms in the name of the "peaceful" mooslimes and political correctness. This will not stop until America gets up en masse and marches on Washington, which may well never happen.

My only hope is that the Rapture comes quickly and relieves us from what is coming.

Bring the troops home Rummy mis-managed the war there, and the mission has morphed into an un-achievable mission. Tell the Taliban that if they allow another terror attack to be launched from Afghanistan that we will kill everyone with pork coated bullets.

My son heads over there by mid-year....just want him to do his job,get the t-shirt and hope he doesn't have to go another time before this is officially a wrap. We don't seem to do long wars well anymore....alot of factors involved there unfortunately.
