When I got deployed in '09 I got all of my Platoon's jump logs, updated them and put them in a nice, neat binder to take with us to the 'Stan. A month later I got medevac'd and my records were there when I was getting ready to PCS in February. My BN Air NCO had copies of some of the manifests from jumps I'd been on and reconstructed most of my log. I was in the BN test platoon for the T-11 which was the main reason he helped me. Now I've got this spiffy "new" log but it's all typed out instead of the hand jammed one I had in the binder. Coincidentally, that's the one I want but it's long gone. Bottomline, if you or someone somewhere, has your manifests a certified Jumpmaster can remake your log. It is just a paper after all .

I have a .xlsx file that might help some folks track their current jumps. Probably not helpful for this particular problem, but I'd be happy to pass along to anyone who'd like it.

Are you still in touch with anyone you were over there with. You can use your buddies jump logs to help you recreate yours. You should be able to figure out what jumps you were on with what buddies. Then you just need a JM to initial and Bob's your Uncle.

I have always had to have my jump log to clear finance when leaving a post to show when it was closed and if I was current.

Still know a guy that actually lives here in Phoenix from when we were both over there. Thats a good idea, hopefully he still has his and I can match up the jumps our company did. "Bob's your Uncle."?

I felt like it was bullshit so I didn't want that happening to anyone.
This was me. Since I was a Rigger and this is just about all we cared about, i.e. JUMPING, I never even had to wear the Senior wings, went straight to the Master wings. I also stopped counting once I got them. And honestly slowed way down to just jumping when I had to also. I jumped 6 times in one day as a young SPEC-4. What a dumbass move that was looking back. WHY????? is all I can say. Didnt listen to the OLD Timers warnings. Just asking for an injury......

Your log might still be around. Have you checked IPERMS?

I have heard the war stories of shitty OP NCOs not logging jumps like they should. On the other hand I have known OP NCOs that gave some of our pay hurts "paper jumps" to keep there pay up. These were usually kids that got stuck in the middle and got screwed out of getting on a manifest to keep current. As a parachute prostitute, I made damn sure I got logged every time.

I worked in Bn S-3 twice during my career, our Air NCO not only co-ordinated birds for the battalion but also kept up our 1307s; we had three different Air NCOs during my time in the headshed, all three worked their AAs off trying to keep the jumpers up to date. Even so, I spent my last year or so on active duty on an SD assignment during which I did a lot of strap-hanging with various units and more than a few didn't get (was it) the 1306s to my unit due to one SNAFU or another. While I was always assured my units would be informed of my jumps and I took it for granted they would it was I always felt it was ultimately my responsibility to ensure my 1307 was up to date - even though I was pretty pre-occupied my last year and a half with everything that was going on at the time. One time I even got listed as a pay loss by my battalion and got slotted for a last minute strap hang with the 1/319th on the last day of the month knowing I had jumped twice that month with SOCOM and Corps, but the 1306s were in transit between units so...

Well, I got a great jump story out of it.

Most of us probably have jumps that didn't make it to our 1307s. Word to those still on jump status, keep documentation of all your jumps.

When I went to clear the Division after the docs declared my physical problems were due to jump injuries my battalion had me down as a pay hurt (again); I had done a strap hang with one of the Special Forces Groups a month or so before and knew I wasn't a pay hurt. For one clearing the Division I was about to lose two or three months' jump pay I had been "overpayed." Fortunately, I was able to produce a 1306 proving I had jumped and was covered to the day I cleared the 82nd. Gotta cover your 6.
