Default Nikon M-223 1-4x20 Point Blank scope

    Hi all,

Does anyone have Nikon M-223 1-4x20 Point Blank scope?
Grafs.com and Primary Arms are selling it for $229.
Nikon site with specs and info:

I'd like to put it on a low-mount for lower 1/3 co-witness with AK iron sights on my converted .223 Saiga, have it mounted to AK side rail.
There is a dedicated Nikon Weaver mount available, but I don't see how to integrate it with any of AK-style side rail.

    Happy shooting!

(Add-on) just received suggestion: if budget is tight (and expectations are inline with budget), why not to try Bushnell Banner 1-4 x 32mm, Matte [711432] for 1/4 of the Nikon's street price:

    Any thoughts?

I work with a guy (ex popo) who likes the Bushnell. He's kind of a gun snob so it must be pretty good.

I have had this optic...no illuminated dot/reticule. Its an okay scope I'd opt for the Millett DMS, or the new Weaver VXR 1-4 both have illuminated dots. Vortex's Viper series is another god option.

Raven, the M-223 is what is installed on my AR. You used it at the Sizzler this summer... well, sort of

LD, I was busy dropping mags, as you might recall...

Thank you all for suggestions (and painful reminder, LadyDoc: JK!).

New "toy" should fix last Sizzler's screw-up:
