Posting links to other sites and virus protection***EVERYONE READ***

Recently a link to another website was posted on this forum that included a virus. This is totally unacceptable. At least one member of this site caught the virus.
When you link to an outside source, YOU are personally responsible if YOU bring a virus to this website and can/will be held accountable if the circumstances dictate.
We know that sometimes "shit happens" or can happen unexpectedly. You should have a good idea of what would be considered a safe site to link to. If you are unsure, it is your responsibility to have a decent virus/anti virus program on your computer. If you do not have one, DO NOT LINK TO OTHER SITES while participating on armyparatrooper.org. PERIOD.
If you can't be certain that a site you want to link to doesn't have viruses, DO NOT LINK TO IT.
Porn sites are notorious for having viruses attached to them.
If you are unwilling to download it to your own machine and scanning it before bringing it here, DO NOT BRING IT HERE. That would mean that you yourself do not trust the host site.
Once again, YOU are personally responsible for the websites YOU CHOOSE too link to. If you personally can't say without a doubt that there aren't viruses attached to any particular site, DO NOT LINK TO IT ON THIS SITE.
It is YOUR responsibility ONLY.
Serious repercussions up to and including banning from this site could result if it is determined someone has been blatantly careless when linking to an outside source.
YOU ARE PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE, PERIOD!!
If you do not have a reliable anti virus program on your computer at the present time, I suggest you forgo posting here until you do.
