Here I go again - "Captured U.S. Paratrooper" held by Haqqani terror group

We have American hikers arrested in Iran and they are all over the news continuously.

We have a young American involved in a murder in Italy all over the news. The media can't say enough about these people.

We have an American Paratrooper being held for 2 years-now we find out by the Haqqani terrorist group and we don't hear jack shit about this guy. Am I missing something here? Am I out in left field with this? Where's the media? Where's our Govt.?

When Bush was in charge the military were nothing but slathering sadistic baby-killers and evil torturers. The MSM fear as if under the threat of death to say anything negative about "obama's proud military fighting men". Just how does obama go from being part of the anti-war, miltary are mindless civilian baby killing torturers to being the proud leader of his "brave fighting men" with the stroke of a pen?

I participated in the counter protests every time the anti-Bush crowd would drag their funky show out to Rowan park in Fayetteville. All that protesting came to a grinding halt the day obama took over.

The kid's name is Bowe Bergdahl. He apparently was with the Alaska outfit 501st? not sure. 2 years this kid's been missing. Some say he deserted-some say he walked off some say he's whacky.
If he's gone rogue we should re capture him and bring him back to trial. My point is he's one of us.

I was in Afghanistan when this went down, I remember hearing there was something really weird about this kid and he was having some kind of personal or emotional problems when he disappeared. Either way, he's still one of our sons and we need to find him.

If I'm NOT mistaken he has been promoted twice since his disappearance and apparent capture. Nothing would be better than Delta bustin in some haj shithole and getting this kid out. Ironically, the DOD announced that 4 Bde(Abn)25th ID from Alaska, and Bowe's unit, is heading back over. Let's bring this young man home!

IIRC correctly, he decided to go down town with one of the locals and was picked up by A-Q/Taliban in town. Unit took awhile to figure out he was not on the COB (?).
