Very good article. I bet the whole collection of stuff that has been left would fill a room in a museum.

Although (not to be disrespectful of the departed), I couldn't help imagining some deceased Ranger looking down, seeing a coin by his name and thinking --

Jesus gives you a coin when you meet Him. All you have to do is wait by the Pearly Gates for the latecomers to arrive because you KNOW they weren't able to bring anything with them.

This happens at the Vietnam wall in DC too. They have a huge warehouse full of stuff now. I think they were talking about making it a museum.

Don't let Al read this. You know what will happen if he does.

Taking photographs of the items is a superb idea. A CIB next to a Ranger's name... that's historical relevance.
