I'm guessing backing would always be a good idea.

Pat, What kind of backing do you want, I'll secure it. Raven, I'll take you up on that lunch you mentioned today, sorry I didn't get back to you. As far as gear, I'm bringing 3 fans, extension cords, tarps, a cooler of water, probably 3-4 cases of decent beer (Sam Adams, Guinness, Harp, Smithwicks), an LCD projector, and my giant balls.

    Brother,
That's what we love you so much for!...

No, no your balls (with all due respect); the rest of the package.

Oh, no... that doesn't sound right.
    My damn Runglish!

Speaking of the rest of supplies: calling Brother Shadow:
    1) Do we have leftover of last year's competition targets and backing carton sheets(I think this is what Pat is talking about)?
    2) Can we count on your:
    a) Large shade (10x30?)
    b) Griddle?
    c) Targets and stands, whatever survived (IEDmagnet and I are working on add-ons)?

Sharing few excerpts from communication with manifested participant:

"Let’s make sure we won’t be sugar-coating our “Rave Party”-style camping.

Event takes place on secluded Range-type private property.
It’s not a Hilton, but far better than survival camp. Chief, property owner, allowed participants to use his large over-the-ground pool and other civilized amenities.

Since property owners and event founders will carry the major load of expenses and supplies, we will ask Brothers and Sisters to chip in to help Brothers and their families with financial burden. Nothing will be turned down and anything will be appreciated. Donations also will be made to honorable causes.

Last year we asked folks to bring meal components and “lunchables”, from eggs, sausages and bacon for breakfast to cold cuts for quick lunch.
Snacks are highly recommended, since we will be skipping lunches during the Range days (FRI and SAT), so anything from granola bars to MRE and dried pig ears, or puppy tails with balls attached will do.
Count enough for you and “half “to one more person, i.e. 1.5x to 2x of your own consumption.

Stacking on bottled water and Gatorade is encouraged, and since weather likely will be muggy and hot like Dark’s Momma’s ...purse, food will be by far secondary to drinks and snacks.

Since Friday is a Pistol Range Day, and Saturday is a Rifle Range Day, prior nights recommended to be moderate in alcohol consumption [by the Airborne standards (JK)].
Everyone will be “sniffed” before hitting the range; “boozed and oozed” will sit the Range time on sidelines (a.k.a. the "piss bushes"). Spectators and cheerleaders will be watching from the “bleachers”.

Any special needs will be accommodated to the best of organizer's abilities.
Disrespectful behavior won’t be tolerated and cut short. This is private property; therefore, banning unruly participant remains a valid option at organizers’ disposal.

We’ll push harder, but in the worst case scenario, there are stores within few short miles from the camp, including supermarkets and Sam’s Club.

Last year everyone pulled it together well, even though there were some initial intel fallouts.
I expect the same and even better participation and team work this year.

We are Paratroopers; therefore, failure is not an option.
    AATW!".

    Great, Brother!
We're going to have a blast!

Speaking of "Boar's Head": I am not that impressed either, but this is me.
Any food is good when there is enough beer to flush it down.

Beach planning has been absorbing my packing here, but I did manage to rezero my M1 and perform maintenance on the generator. Gonna get a new fan before I come up, and a stop at my local liquor store... but the final approach stuff is being done.

Raven, if you need more than the one target stand I was assigned let me know and I'll knock it out when I get back from the beach. Other than that, I have two days of work...and vacation begins.

    Brother,

I just called Shadow and left message; also sent e-mail on roll-over S4 from last year.
Regardless of existing target stands inventory, let's go 5 (five): 3 from me and 2 from you.
Since LD is running late, adding extra won't hurt.
    What do you think?

Holy Shit...UCMJ made his way back here...did hell freeze over!!??

Looking forward to seeing you brother.

Sarn't Raven...If I have not said it lately...You have been doing an OFS Job!

Here is the current Sizzler updates...

    1. EVERYONE Who is Active Duty/Veteran needs to bring their headgear.
LD, JE, and AL need to secure headgear as well.

    2. Our dreams of a Static Display have fallen flat.

    3. There will be a Flag Detail for Reveille and Taps.
Members on the Flag Detail have been named.

    4. We are still attempting to have an Honor Guard for the
Flag Burning Ceremony. Bring your worn or tattered flag to be disposed of in the proper
fashion. Shadow and I will be in charge of this ceremony.

    5. We will be having a "Silent Auction". If you have something
cool to donate to the cause...send me a PM...and bring it with you.

    6. Mamma Shadow will be unable to furnish our Saturday Feast. However,
Shadow, Chief, Raven, and Myself have you covered.

    7. Your's truly will be supplying and cooking the Thursday Feast.

    8. Pot Luck style grub needed (ie lunch meats, breads, condiments, drinks, snacks, etc).
Bring your coolers and Ice too.

    9. Friday pistol shoot at Chief's lower property. Rifle competition at same location as last year.
Ferret, Ardent Lady, and Myself will be Range SO's at both location. Comp rules have been posted.
Trophy Ceremony will be held and prizes awarded.

    10. You will be asked to sign the Waiver upon arrival.

    11. If you have issues with your PIC being taken...notify me.

    12. Chief's main residence will be off limits to unauthorized personnel.
We will strictly use his property outside. Exception will be the Latrine/shower.
But, Nobody is allowed to be inside...unless invited. We will respect their residence
and be thankful he is allowing us to be there.

    13. The Pool will be available to everyone. Keep in mind the is a max capacity
of people allowed in at any one time.

    14. Let's all enjoy ourselves, be safe, and make this year the most memorable!

That's it in a nutshell...not necessarily in that order.

BTW, 12 days and wake up for me and I'm wheels up!
