    Default Hackintosh Project

    Well,

here we go everyone. I am attempting to build a "Hackintosh" from scratch. Here are the basics

i3 Processor, Intel Motherboard, 1TB harddrive, 4GB RAM and 1GB Videocard...Once I get my Mac OS(Snow Leopard) I'll get this party started.

WTF is a hackintosh? Obviously it has something to do with MAC but what's it for? A gaming server?

Can't you find a tower that's better than a cardboard box?

It's more environmentally friendly than an actual tower.

Good luck with that, all I see is a box of stuff I have no idea what to do with.

So far everything comes to $359 bucks I'll spend another 124 for the OS, iLife and iWork apps so I put G5 together for about $500 bucks not too bad, and I have a 24" Monitor..

For those that don't quite know what that means, that's about a $2,000 savings. You have to post the step by step instructions when you get this thing put together, I'm pretty psyched to see how all this turns out.
