U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is hiring Officers to work for one of the Department of Homeland Security’s largest and most complex agencies. CBP’s priority mission is protecting our nation’s borders by keeping terrorists and their weapons out of the United States.

As a CBP Officer, you’re part of a dynamic team working in a fast-paced environment where every day presents a new challenge. You’ll also use state-of-the-art technology at more than 300 ports of entry located at international airports, seaports and land borders throughout the United States, deterring illegal entry to our country, intercepting contraband, and interdicting agricultural pests and potential diseases.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

> Be between the ages of 18 and 36.
> Be a U.S. citizen and a resident for at least the past three years.
> Have a valid state driver’s license.
> Pass a thorough background investigation, medical examination, fitness test and drug test.
New hires must successfully complete 17–19 weeks of classroom and fi eld training at the CBP Academy, Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC), Glynco, GA.

36 + 4 years of active duty = 40.
