Hello, I am part of a blogtalk radio group that was duped for a long time by a scoundrel who was posing as a Lt Col. Retired from the Marines. We have since found out he spent 39 days in basic training before being asked to leave, not sure why. He has bilked quite a bit of money from our group along with a used car...my question, is it legal to pass oneself off as a Lt Col, Retired and if it isn't how does one report such a thing?
This scoundrel is currently back on facebook, still claiming he is a Lt Col., Retired, duping vulnerable women with his lies of his military disabilities, faked cancer ect...he is going by the name of John Thundershield, and here are some of the links to his pages:

I hope someone might have an answer, it is terrible knowing this person is a fraud but to use our military to scam people is an offence he'll burn in hell for. If you need more information I will attempt to answer with whatever I can.
Thanks
