    Default lz_NORTHPOLE John L. passed away...

    Brothers and Sisters,

    I've just got a call from ...John's own cell phone.
    Gentleman on another end introduced himself as Todd S (didn't get his last name), and informed me that John passed away sometime yesterday in his sleep.
    Todd was going through John's phone address book and calling everyone on the list.

    Reason for departure is unknown yet.
    I'm in disbelief (my last conversation with John was about 10 days ago).

    Anyone with more details, please post updates (I'll do the same).

    (If this is true, and I wish it wasn't...),

    I am very shocked to hear about this. I have read this thread over and over again thinking about how much John will be missed by all. I was also thinking about his excellent adventure that he just completed and all the brothers on this site he linked up with during his trip.

    I got a call from Skyshark and for once really didn't know what to say. John just posted on the Viet Nam Veterans sight on the 16th. John will be truely missed REST IN PEASE john the battle is over. AIRBORNE BROTHER
