LRRP / RAIDER / RECONDO SCHOOL DIPLOMAS NEEDED !!!!

Brothers, We are attempting to get as many Diplomas from any of the schools listed above...If you do not want your name on it make a copy , and white it out and I will fill in SPC Tentpeg.....No we want to start an album and eventually keep them in our Archives since some of these schools it's hard to find someone with a diploma.....The 82nd was running a Raider Course and a Recondo course at the same time, however we still don't have an actual Diploma from either one so if you have one I would appreciated a copy....thanks...."SALSA"

DAM, I thought I had replied to the simple question of where do you send a copy. OK We're moving a long OK. The info needed is a clear copy of the diploma approx 720 pixels ....if your SSN is on there put a piece of paper over it OR burn a copy white out the SSN (let it dry) then burn another copy. I hope I'm not insulting anyone's blah, blah, but we have gotten some real winners...like the 120 pixel diploma, OK... All you need to include is what unit you were with when you went to the course....some do not have Graduation dates....don;'t worry...I have a generic comment that fits all. Send them to brasso9@verizon.net And we will accept any LRP/LRRP or Recondo Certificates for show & tell but it will not go in the 82nd/XVIII Airborne Recondo School album. However I also developed and maintain a folder on the 101st Airborne Recondo School and the SF MACV Recondo School so if you have either one of them they have a special folder also...The future lies in the past....all the Recondos from the late 70's till the mid 80's are very interested in the History of the LRRP, LRP, RGR & Recondos....that's where I come in , however, since we want to direct their attention to this specific school for now I have only given some overviews. We have a discussion area which is constantly in use also...we have some vintage videos, and loads of pics.....HOWEVER, neither the 82nd Abn Div or the XVIII Abn Corps have any records or Diplomas at all in ref to these courses.....So we are trying to build a quso history, we have POI's, manifest, etc....later we will tell them more or as I have already done, just give them a few good web sites....And see for them selves......Thanks/////and stop by if your on Face book it's a FREE no membership required you can browse through it all....PLEASE hit the LIKE button if you LIKE IT....You may also post comments on the wall...."SALSA" 307 I will try and copy your diploma....I will contact you and let you know what's up THANKS!

ATTENTION...DUE TO MY PC Having a massive stroke there needs to be some changes...It's in the PC ICU and it does not look good, I have the best "GEEK SQUAD" around and they told me they will have more as the test results come in....One guy told me I should shoot it....How insensitive.....Hell......I shot my last one with a 16 Gauge #4 shot...from 3 feet away....and my OL is using it right now....OK. PLAN B ; Please send me ONLY scanned certificates that are clear , no SSN and at least 720 pixels. I'm limited on this small LT unit I'm using. Thanks.

307 is posted and good to go... I have a copy of the 3 certificates that are not from Recondo, which I will Evaluate to see about posting them later. HOWEVER, there are a thousand different schools that have or are being conducted by just the Army alone. This site concentrates on LRRP, LRP & RECONDO..So that's what we need to try and stay within that arena...I'm not trying to bust anybodies balls because I have had dozens of certificates sent to me in the past couple months and "You would not believe what some of them were for"

We are researching the costs of some T Sgirts (HA) The Instructors basically wore shirts similar to jump school instructors,,,Black with a white Master Wings in the center and RECONDO across the top in a small arc. same with hats, When I was there the CSM was so gung ho about us that he told us we could wear that dam uniform ANYWHERE IN NC......My mind is ancient he was one of those guys who escaped from his own country during WWII CSM Ivanof (SP) ??? A real hard ass till you got to know him.....I'm almost certain that uniform policy changed.....OK

Before I forget if you have ever wanted to find images or pictures of anything above the Goggle search is a list of items which has IMAGES, VIDEOS, etc....click on IMAGES and a new search box comes up....then just type in the subject you looking for (It's best to designate the country) For instance us lrrps in vietnam click search and all kinds of stuff come up....then just put your cursor over something you might like and it will open up and tell you the size and what URL and name they got it from...I found several sig banners and post from this LRP, LRS site it was wild.....so I followed a couple and if you older member the old post about WHO went to the XVIII Abn Recondo School....Well I clicked on the URL and it came right up ....SO I posted it on our wall as a GOOD post from Army Para LRS Section and the link also came with thumbnails which you can choose from....OK I'll be in touch....

UPDATE ON FACE BOOK 82ND/XVIII Airborne Recondo School page. We're moving right along and have well over a dozen documented certificates. We also did a nice post on a former Commandant who was in charge when Recondo was still going. The last couple months have been hard trying to find a good graphic and a store that will sell us T shirts in quanity....I did not want the Wings and Recondo,,,,that all came from Jump/Jump Master School so I designed a set up that would be put over your heart without a pocket and had a few made up. Ray is still looking into some deals, I say we go for long sleeve polos or sweat shirts now......"SALSA"

307 Eng Your diploma has been on there I will try and attach it. I have my Recondo School diploma from 1962 and my 101st jump school diploma. Both are in frames. I will not give up my originals, but I would be more than happy to take them out of the frames and have copies made.


Give me a mailing address, or I could fax them to you, let me know. I just now tried to scan the Recondo school with it in the frame. It is readable, but the quality sucks.
