Now that the Sizzler is over...I will work on securing the dates.

    My apologies...

The rest of the itinerary will be worked out and posted ASAP.

By any chance will we meet at 8:00 a.m. on whatever day at the Safeway on Highway 97 at the north end of Madras, Oregon then put in at Warm Springs and take out at Maupin?

Excellent! 15 months is lots of warning.

I'll go find the pics I have of my boss with a nekid stripper and look at the schedule for 2012

I say that is pretty steep. My son and I coming up there that is 1k just for that not including getting there or anything else. To tell you the truth I would rather we all pitch in and get a beach house or a cabin for 3 or 4 day weekend. We can all camp out side and use the cabin or house or whatnot for the kitchen, fridge, shower and what not. Especially if anyone brings any women folk. I am a HUGE fan of northern California and Southern Oregon and camping at POinte Reyes. For those of you that don't know what this is like, that is where they filmed the Ewok scene in Return of the Jedi. Absolute awesome country. Right on the coast great camping sites. No vehicles are allowed. you have to hike in. About 2 miles I think. Anyway, I think just a straight up camping/fishing trip would be best for the Autumn Ambush. Nothing scheduled just a bunch of friends and their families in the woods for a few days doing what we do best. No schedules, no cell phones nothing just us and the woods/ocean.

Again,. that's just me. May be a lot less expensive and more people may be able to attend.

Now, everyone open another window for your internet. Go to google. Click on images. Then do a search for "Point Reyes National Shoreline" then "Point Reyes Camping". After looking at those pictures, tell me you wouldn't want to spend a weekend there camping. Great times a head...........great times.

Excellent input brother. Exactly what I was looking for.
    Anyone else...The debate is open...

maybe an MOD/Admin type can start a poll...

    Camping scenerio
    White Water Rafting

    I need input folks.

The White Water trip would be a serious committment (cash wise).
The camping scenerio SkyShark is talking bout...Also a committment...but, not as costly.

Whatever the masses want to do...I'm game!

I echo Skyshark's thoughts. If I am able to make both next year cost will certainly be a primary consideration. I understand the fun of rafting, etc. but for me the most fun is just sitting around eating good food and hanging with the bros with some beers.

I would love to go rafting, but I am especially strapped for cash right now and wouldn't be able to commit any substantial amount of money. Camping on or within a short walk of an ocean beach is always cool, especially the dunes in Oregon, or the Redwoods of Nor Cal.

Vote for Camping (central location) and fishing (every day at different locations).
